The Peel P50 Spyder is an open-top variant of the Peel P50 microcar, produced by the Peel Engineering Company. Like the original P50 Saloon, the Spyder is recognized as one of the smallest production cars ever built. It maintains the compact three-wheeled layout and minimalist design philosophy of the standard model but features an open body style without a fixed roof.
Designed for single-occupant use, the P50 Spyder has a lightweight fiberglass body and is powered by a small single-cylinder engine. Its compact proportions make it suited primarily for short-distance travel in urban environments. Due to its minimal size and construction, the vehicle can be easily maneuvered in confined spaces.
Produced in limited numbers, both historically and in later revival editions, the Peel P50 Spyder is regarded as a novelty and collector’s vehicle. It represents an extreme interpretation of micro-mobility and compact automotive design.
